A Seminar on Skilled Birth Attendance was organized on the occasion of the National Safe Motherhood Day. This event was covered by local and national news papers and television channels.

District level consultation and campaign - 11 district level meetings with partner NGOs organized. One district level campaign programme in Kalahandi district initiated and successfully conducted. In this campaign 30,000 signatures including that of Ministers, local MLAs and MP, district and state level officers, local PRI members and women from different parts of the district were collected. Safe Motherhood message competition was organized among adolescent girls centered on safe motherhood.
