CINI is working with the WRAI to carry out the advocacy activities in the state of West Bengal. Some of the main activities that they have carried out recently are mentioned below:

With the objective of initiating the program through development of the network, an Open Discussion with 16 MNGOs was held on 13th April 2006 at CINI Chetna Resource Center- the training wing of CINI. These Mother NGOs will implement advocacy activities through their selected Field NGOs at the grass root level.

CINI observed the National Safe Motherhood Day on April 12, 2006 by organizing a workshop on “Maternal and Child Health”. This workshop was organized jointly by The Department of Health & Family Welfare (Govt. of West Bengal) and the CINI. The joint endeavor was consolidated by the participation of UNICEF and U.S. Consulate.
